EME Counselling

There are times in each of our lives when we feel less able to cope than normal, our thoughts can become clouded making it difficult to think and see clearly leaving a sense of feeling lost. These feelings may have been triggered by a traumatic or difficult life event or they may steam back to our childhood. Talking to a trained counsellor/psychotherapist who is not involved in the same way as your friends or family, can be a very empowering experience and one which can support positive change.

I offer a warm, professional, confidential counselling service, where clients can feel safe to discuss any concerns they may have. I work with adults and young people for short and long term therapy including offering personal therapy for student counsellors.

I provide Integrative therapy, which focuses on the importance of a good therapeutic relationship, working towards enabling the client to feel a healthier balance between both mind and body to facilitate wholeness. The Integrative approach believes that we are all individuals therefore no signal approach to counselling can suit all clients. As an Integrative therapist I can work with a variety of therapeutic approaches tailoring the therapeutic approach to meet the individual client’s needs.

I am passionate about providing a safe environment in which my client will not feel judged, enabling them to explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. This in turn, can help develop personal awareness and positive change. Whilst the therapy may explore past issues the focus is very much on what the affects are on the here and now and how we can begin to be more present in the moment.
